Published in June 2026 by Editora 7 Letras and launched at Livraria da Travessa, Ipanema, in Rio de Janeiro, on 21 July 2026, Música Nova do Mundo - no limiar de culturas (World New Music - on the threshold of cultures) gathers, revises and expands articles published in academic music journals between 2010 and 2022. Written in Portuguese, it contains translations of articles originally written in English.

The subject of the book is 20th- and 21st- century concert art music composition in which are present non-Western contents (musical instruments, structures, rhythm, pitches, tuning, timbres, etc., as well as representations, images, philosophies, ideas, doctrines...).
